A place I would like to visit

HELLOOOOOOO.
When I was a little kid my biggest dream was not only to visit but to live in all the magical places I've seen on my favourites movies and tv shows. But since it's impossible to go to Hogwarts or Middle Earth the only option I have to fulfill that dream at this point will include a ticket to New Zealand.

New Zealand (also known as Aotearoa or land of the long white cloud) is an island country in the South Pacific Ocean near Australia. It's a very small nation full of some of the most wonderful places and landscapes in the world. In New Zealand you can find everything: big mountains, steaming volcanoes, infinite coastlines, an unique range of flora and fauna, etc. They have it all haha.

One of the places in New Zealand I will go visit ASAP is the Tongario National Park who is one of the three UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the country with a deep spiritual connection between the natural beauty of the place and the Maori ancient culture.

That's all folks. See u next week :)

First time at Lollapalooza

I was sitting on my bed at 4pm when somebody told me about a job offer at lollapalooza. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of working in my free time, but it was the only chance I have to get inside this amazing festival full with all the bands and shows I love for free. I dressed up quickly and run at the gates of Parque Ohiggins to get my staff bracelet and get ready to work inmediatly. It was a hot sunny friday. Once I got there I was shocked to see so many people around the park. The first three hours I worked filling cups and selling snacks, but after a while I found a way to sneak out and see the headliners of the first night: Kendrick Lamar, Fisher, Twenty One Pilots and more! The next two days I went straight to enjoy the shows and forgot all about the work I was supposed to do. It was so much fun! I even meet with a friend and spent all two days running from one stage to another to see all the bands we wanted. It seems like the people behind the festival never knew about this be...

POST 9 (WEEK 13): A PHOTOGRAPH YOU LIKE

I have been taking photos without a break since the beginning of the summer. I use several vintage cameras I have bought online with different types of films trying to learn and experiment with how light interacts with the 35mm rolls. I have been taking photos of a bunch of different things like landscapes, streets, people, nature, museums, my pets and a lot of adventures with my friends. I think it’s too hard to choose just one photo, but if I had to choose a few this is definitely among my favorites so far. It depicts the Osorno volcano at the golden hour, the time when the sun is starting to go down. The photo was taken about four months ago when I was with my friends driving around Llanquihue lake and suddenly decided to go up to see the sunset and play with the snow. The road was a little bit tough because it was full of curves and certain parts were totally frozen, but after driving very carefully we got to the top just in time to see the show from start to finish. I remember the...

POST GRADUATE STUDIES

I’m not really planning to study after I graduate, at least not in the traditional way. This will sound a little bit strange, but I think all these years inside the art school are like my post graduate studies. Don’t get me wrong, I love studying arts and everything around it, but I feel I’ve spent too many years learning different kinds of things and I think it’s time to stop, take a break and do anything else I want. My life at the university started way before this on the opposite side of the art world. For almost four years I was a student (a bright one tho) at the engineering school where numbers and binary codes ruled all the aspects of my life (and my mind). After a while I decided to make a radical choice and get away from that path to be something else. Now I’m in my last year at art school and I just want to go outside and work on my dreams without the need to spend so much time and money for a few pounds of knowledge. Of course I’m always learning new things and always will ...
