POST 9 (WEEK 13): A PHOTOGRAPH YOU LIKE

I have been taking photos without a break since the beginning of the summer. I use several vintage cameras I have bought online with different types of films trying to learn and experiment with how light interacts with the 35mm rolls. I have been taking photos of a bunch of different things like landscapes, streets, people, nature, museums, my pets and a lot of adventures with my friends. I think it’s too hard to choose just one photo, but if I had to choose a few this is definitely among my favorites so far. It depicts the Osorno volcano at the golden hour, the time when the sun is starting to go down. The photo was taken about four months ago when I was with my friends driving around Llanquihue lake and suddenly decided to go up to see the sunset and play with the snow. The road was a little bit tough because it was full of curves and certain parts were totally frozen, but after driving very carefully we got to the top just in time to see the show from start to finish. I remember the...

POST 8 (WEEK 11): SUMMER HOLIDAYS

Yesterday I was just talking with my friends about our plans for the next summer holidays. Every year we take a few weeks to stay at some beach and other different places to explore and party until the sun comes up. Over the years our goal has grown up the same as we age and thankfully now we’re at a point where we can make almost anything we want, including the chance to make a road trip to other countries like Argentina. The plan’s simple: we’ll take some money, buy a couple of supplies, get in the car and drive to new lands across the map as long as we have enough bucks to keep it going. Our first stop will obviously include Bariloche, which is one of the most beautiful and nicest towns near the border. We are hoping to stay a few days there and then move to other places surrounding the southside of Argentina like San Martín de Los Andes, El Bolsón, and so on. Our main goal is to start in Osorno, drive to Argentina and finally get back to Chile through Paso Tromen near Pucon because...

POST 7: FREE POST

Since I was a kid I’ve been obsessed with computers. I always felt like it was some kind of magic box where everything was possible. I remember being a total nerd when I was a teen, like a child expert on a lot of state of the art things just because I loved to learn about everything new. My friends and family reached me everytime they needed to fix something or install new softwares on their computers. I learned how to code at the engineering school when I was 18 and since then everything got more complex and interesting. I build apps, games and software capable of doing everything I want. Lately I’ve been working on my final project at the art school and it involves the use of artificial intelligence in the production of art. Artificial intelligence it’s a simple way to resume the complexity of a complex process with a lot of operations that analyze big amounts of data to create new one. In the particular case of arts, artificial intelligence it’s able to process a lot of images from...
